I can’t believe it has been so long since I posted my last blog.  And to top it off, for some strange reason, about a week’s worth of blogs disappeared!  That’s technology for ya…  and that’s why I have a job – to fix these types of “computer glitches” hehe J

Well, last weekend me, my wife, my mom and her friend Dan and the Greer’s (all 6 of them), went on a cruise to Mexico for the weekend (4 – days).  It was quite fun until the last day when the ship became really rocky.  Some people could hardly walk around the ship.  It was a nice relaxing weekend and probably the last vacation I’ll take for a while (except for our monthly Disneyland vacations).

The reason I initially started this blog was to feel what it was like to blog every day.  Since the whole idea behind the site, FollowMe365.com, is to blog every day for a year, I’m starting to realize it is hard (unless I get paid a lot of money to do it).  Since I’m not making 1 cent off of it right now, it is hard.  I just need to set a timer or something for right before I go to bed – that should remind me to get my butt out of bed and blog a few paragraphs.  Until tomorrow…work hard and play harder.

Today I saw my grandparents and spent some time talking with them. My grandma makes the best pancakes!! I could eat them everyday of my life.

SED's are entering the market in the next few months. Today I found out what they are, similiar to LCD TV's, they are a flat panel display which utilize a different type of technology. How can anyone keep track of all of these terms anymore? LCD, DLP, SED, PDP... Soon, I'll take a degree to buy a TV!

Today I spent most of the day working at the annual Christmas Tree pickup in Hollister. We saw a lot of old friends and family. It is always a great time.

Tonight we are staying at my best friend Patrick's new house. I haven't seen him in a while, so it was nice to catch up with him. Tomorrow I can't wait to se my grandparents and have breakfast with them before heading back home.

The weekend is here...a great time to collect one's thoughts for the coming week. This weekend we're helping with the annual Christmas tree pickup which is always a lot of fun.

We'll be at my uncle's house and will most likely play lots of video games. Hopefully I can get a lot of rest since I anticipate next week is going to be very busy.

Today, Kim brought me lunch to the office...I love her so much! Maybe next week I'll cook her dinner. It will be nice to eat at home for once...

Another day – come and gone.  I was lucky enough to spend the evening with my wife, Kim.  First we went to dinner and then came home and watch the movie, Into the Blue.  It was an alright “date night” movie.

Today’s lunch was at Claim Jumpers, which has really good steak – I’ll have to go there more often.  For dinner, we went to Chevy’s.  We used to go there almost ever Tuesday night for dinner, however we don’t make it there that often anymore.

Tomorrow is Friday and usually a slow day at the office, so I’ll use it to catch up on work from 2005 (which I should have had completed already).  As I sit here typing, I can’t help but keep looking at the box of Chiclets that my wife bought me…yum gum!

Being at the office from 9am to almost 11pm today really wore me out.  So much, I almost forgot to post my daily blog.  Since the office was filled with meetings all day, I found little time to do anything worth talking about.

However, for dinner I had one of my favorite meals, Chicken Fajitas from Appleby’s.  Hmmm hmm!

The first day of officially being back to the office in 2006 – it seems work is the only thing I think about.  We’ll, you’re right!  So if you read my blogs, get used to it! J

Although today was catch-up day, I was able to take 45 minutes to run home during lunch and see if my beautiful wife was home.  Unfortunately, she wasn’t.  So I headed back to the office, picking up Boston Market on the way.

Chris (VP of FollowMe) was able to complete about 60 percent of the Business Plan for FollowMe today.  I hope to have a good idea of all aspects of the business completed by the end of January.  With that, I will be better able to determine what resources we will need to kick off the company (funds, staffing, website design, etc).

We’re also in the process of building a new home, so things are quickly going to start getting very busy for us.  If I plan and manage things just right, I should have time for my wife, work and family/friends – things that mean the most to me in life.

Now that my partner of BCT Consulting is back from his week long vacation (D.C.), hopefully he’ll be able to take some of the work load off at the office for me to focus on future ventures.

Tonight, a bunch of us are going to watch Wedding Crashers for Amanda’s birthday.  We just got home from B.J.’s for dinner – yum yum!

Today I went to the gym with my wife, brother and his girlfriend. This is the first time I’ve been in a little over a year, since I bought the gym pass almost 2 years ago. What a great way to start off the new year!

For dinner we went to the Cheesecake Factory. Although the 1 ½ hour wait was irritating, the company was fun as we talked more about our new business ventures. All of us are looking forward to working hard in 2006, but more than anything, I want to spend more time with my wife during our first year of marriage. My success in 2006 will be working harder while spending lots of time with the woman of my dreams.
